The Texas Ranger TRE 292 is a compact CB radio, perfect for installation in your truck’s dashboard or overhead console. It features a durable, clear-sounding SRA198 noise-canceling microphone. The radio has a sleek, classic look with a black faceplate and white lights that illuminate the panel meter and channel display.
You can adjust the brightness of the lights with a dim switch, setting it to high, medium, or low.The multifunction front panel meter allows you to monitor signal strength and RF output during transmission or switch to SWR to check your antenna system. The included S/RF and SWR switch makes toggling between these functions easy. The built-in SWR meter and high SWR alert notify you of any antenna issues.
The front-mounted microphone enhances convenience, and the Roger beep and Talkback features add to the radio’s practicality.
